Who to put in your Burning Bridges AI video: 8 ideas that land

Yourself, your dog, your grandma or an original character: eight leads for the chandelier party, and the photo that makes each one work.

The Burning Bridges AI format has one lead and one room full of friends. That makes the choice of lead the whole joke: the further it is from a confident host in a leather jacket, the better it plays. Here are eight leads that work, and the photo each one needs.

1. Yourself, dressed for it

The classic. Put on the jacket, the chain, the going-out outfit, and take a waist-up photo facing the camera. Because the outfit carries over into the video, dressing the part does half the work.

2. Yourself, not dressed for it

The opposite also works: pajamas, a work lanyard, a football kit. Running a candle-lit party in the wrong clothes is funnier than looking the part. Same rule for the photo: waist-up, straight on, good light.

3. Your dog

Pets are a big part of the trend. A dog lifting a paw above its eyes and scanning the room is hard to beat. Use a photo of your dog sitting upright and facing the camera, with the whole body in view. Results vary more than with people, since the gestures are made for human hands, so expect to try more than once.

4. Your cat

Cats bring the deadpan. A cat that looks thoroughly unimpressed while hosting a party is the whole gag. The same photo tips apply: upright, facing the camera, no blur.

5. Grandma or grandpa

The least likely host often gets the biggest reaction. Ask first, then use a recent, well-lit photo where their face is clear. Glasses are fine; sunglasses are not.

6. The birthday person

A friend's birthday is the perfect excuse: they host the party, the room cheers behind them, and the clip goes straight into the group chat. Get their OK before you upload their photo.

7. Your original character

Mascots, OCs and 3D avatars you made yourself work as well. Use a clean, front-facing render with the full costume visible, so the style holds through the gestures. Stick to characters you own: famous cartoon characters went viral in this trend, but they belong to their studios.

8. Your coworker who never parties

Office clothes in a chandelier room sell the joke instantly. Only with their consent, and maybe not in the company channel.

What doesn't work

  • Group photos. The model has to guess who the lead is. Crop to one person first.
  • Public figures. Celebrities and politicians are off-limits on this site, and a fake “real” clip of a famous person can mislead people.
  • Anyone under 18, or anyone who hasn't agreed to it.

Make yours

Pick your lead, take the photo, and the generator does the rest: the real party scene, the cup raise, the “Where she at?” look and the original song, in about 7 minutes.
